Italian Style Meatballs in Napoli Sauce Sub

Pair this product with crunchy, garlic butter covered rolls and melted mozzarella cheese, perfect for a tasty lunch.

Serves: 4

Preparation: 20 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes


- 4 long rolls split in half

- 4 tablespoons garlic butter

- The Standard Meat Co Italian Style Meatballs in Napoli sauce

- 1 cup mozzarella cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste

Oven method for meatballs:

- Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius

- Place product into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil, ensure meat pieces are not double stacked. Cook for 17 minutes

- Remove from oven, turn the meat over in the sauce, cover with foil and return to oven

- Cook for a further 17 minutes

Pan method for meatballs:

- Remove the product from the bag and place in a non-stick pan

- Heat on medium heat for 8-10 minutes and stir occasionally, until the product is steaming hot

To make rolls:

- Toast 4 rolls until golden

- Place the rolls on a tray and spread with garlic butter

- Add The standard Meat Co. Italian Style Meatballs to each bun (3-4 meatballs per sub)

- Spoon the Napoli sauce over the meatballs

- Cover with cheese and serve with additional sauce if desired, enjoy!
