The Standard Meat Co. brand and concept were developed by the team at Country Cooked International (CCI). Recognizing a gap on Australian supermarket shelves for delicious, high-quality, fully cooked proteins, the team set out to fill it.

CCI specialises in supplying fully cooked, value-added proteins to the foodservice industry. The quality and variety of products produced in their factory in Coolaroo are unmatched by competitors. The team wanted consumers to experience the restaurant-quality “center of plate” proteins that they have been producing for many of Australia’s top restaurants and franchises.

We can't all be chefs, nor do we have the time to be, so we've done the hard part for you. Using the best quality ingredients we can find, we cook them to perfection, maintaining moisture and flavor, so you can easily recreate authentic restaurant-quality meals at home.

The Standard Meat Co. is a retail brand created by Country Cooked, sold directly to consumers and exclusively to independent supermarkets. This product offers a center of plate protein, allowing consumers to add their own sides and finishing touches to complete the meal.

The retail packs are currently stocked in Costco stores across Australia. We are constantly expanding the range with popular and seasonal cuts of meat. We have plans to extend the product range with 300g packs available in independent supermarkets Australia-wide and 1kg packs available at Costco.
